Dr. Hue Tran

Therapeutic Optometrist

Dr. Tran is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist located in Houston, TX. Dr. Tran graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. She went on to receive her Doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating with magna cum laude honors.
Practicing full scope primary care optometry, she routinely diagnoses and manages eye diseases that affects the eye or vision including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Tran offers personalized care and emphasizes patient education to help in understanding the importance of eye health, thus preserving our vision. In addition, she co-manages ocular procedures such as LASIK and cataract surgery. With interest in areas of myopia control for children and fitting orthokeratology lenses and specialty contacts
Growing up on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi where all her family still resides, on her time off she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband loves to try new places
to eat around Houston.
